As part of the OpenHouse collaboration, Kanbi is delighted to present its first salon show in collaboration with a private host. Everyday Humanity is a one day exhibition of exceptional and relevant works by 6 emerging and established artists based in Lagos.

Everyday Humanity explores what is happening in society with Lagos, Nigeria as a point of departure. Through a variety of mediums, works from each artists is an observation of everyday experiences expressed both figuratively and abstractly. Themes include identity, hope, love, forgiveness, beauty, abuse and inequality. 

The exhibition features works in photography and mixed media with a shared emphasis on everyday human experiences, each of the artists contributes an important perspective on our humanity; perspectives that relevant in a 21st century global society.
